Supermarket yogurt is good, but homemade is awesome! It’s inexpensive, healthy, versatile, and easier than you think, so come over and learn how to make your own yogurt. In addition to walking through the various processes, we’ll go over several variations and a whole bunch of ways to use it, both savory and sweet. No longer relegated to retro jello salads and deli diet plates, homemade cottage cheese is about to blow your mind. We’ll use whatever we can keep ourselves from eating right away in amazing verenike (with ham gravy, of course), several simple (non-jello) salads, roasted red pepper alfredo, and even a milkshake...be excited.

Baking and Jamming Classes
Easy as Pie
Give someone a pie and they’ll eat for a day(/week), but teach someone how to make pie, and they’ll eat for a lifetime! Let’s explore various crust options (classic all-butter, pat-in-pan, and crumb) and create some twists on traditionals with latticed vanilla-peach pie, down-home sweet potato pie, and real coconut cream pie. Bring a pie plate, and you can even take a crust home ready for your own choice of filling!
Tuesday, April 16, 2:30 pm – $35
Be prepared to take advantage of the bounty of spring and summer by joining us in this fun class covering the basics of jam-making. Sealed or frozen, traditional or sugar-free, classic flavors or fun twists, we will try and give you ideas for them all – except for jelly, ain’t nobody got time for jelly. Come in comfy clothes, ready to jam.
Saturday, May 11, 9:30 am – $35
